The NASCAR Nationwide Series unleashes the 43 car field at the Dover International Speedway this afternoon for a 200 lap battle on the 1 mile concrete oval.
A year ago Carl Edwards tamed the monster mile as he won at the Dover International Speedway, in fact he swept the Nationwide races at this joint a year ago. Now he has taken the year off from Nationwide series so I can put all of his focus on his Sprint Cup team.
Ty Dillon will make his first career start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series this afternoon, the 20 year old will be driving the number 33 Richard Childress Racing machine this afternoon and will start third.
